Congratulations! You have made it through 31 days of the New Year. Praise God because you are alive. The enemy did not consume you. As you enter this new month of February, the 2nd month of the year, I pray that the Lord will double your blessings in Jesus’ name. I pray that you will get double harvests for every seed you sow. If you sow kindness and love, I pray that the Lord will make even your enemies show you kindness and love in Jesus’ name.
Over the course of the last week, we have seen how people in the Bible persevered and bounced back from trials and tribulations. We saw how people in today’s world have been elevated from lowly states to positions of favor. We saw how some people were looked down upon and their enemies thought that they had heard the last from them; but by the grace of God, they overcame. These lessons are not just for the sake of words, but to encourage all of us that God is not done with us yet. No matter the situation we are going through, God is still refining and working a work on us and in us.
Battles are imminent. They only change in timing, tactics and degrees of severity; but every Believer fights battles. The key for all of us to remember is that we have to persevere and overcome. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (Rev 21:7). Yes we run to God for help because we want to partner with Him in order to fulfill destiny. God likewise wants the same. We have partners in our work. Is it the same as partnering with God? We cannot overcome if we do not partner with God.
Homework: Thank God for protecting and keeping you and your family in January. Ask Him for the grace to be a better partner to Him.
